Reiki

Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is derived from Japanese words: "rei," which means universal, and "ki," which means life energy or vital force. Reiki practitioners believe that there is an unseen life force energy that flows through all living beings, and when this energy is low, we are more likely to feel stressed, sick, or emotionally imbalanced.

Reiki therapy, also known as Reiki healing or Reiki treatment, involves the application of Reiki energy by a trained practitioner to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being. During a Reiki therapy session, the practitioner typically places their hands lightly on or just above various parts of the recipient's body, following a specific sequence or intuition to channel Reiki energy. The recipient may experience sensations such as warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during the session. The goal of Reiki therapy is to help balance the recipient's energy, facilitating the body's natural ability to heal itself. It is often used to reduce stress, alleviate pain, promote emotional healing, and enhance overall vitality.Reiki therapy is considered a holistic approach to wellness, addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual. It is non-invasive and gentle, making it suitable for people of all ages and conditions. While Reiki therapy is often used alongside conventional medical treatments, it is not a substitute for professional medical care.
